So we’ve already talked about being ready…. anticipating…. preparing… but what does that actually mean? What does that look like?
Well…. It simply means having a plan and being ready!
My buddy Stan works for the New Zealand Civil Defence and so we decided that their new “Make a Plan” was the best place to start.
This will support you and your family to think about some of the things that you might need to know and how you might cope if something unexpected happens.
Have you seen this? Some of you might be filling it in this term.
While we were looking at this Stan and I realised that actually, it’s not that different for animals. The difference is that your pets rely on you to be ready. They can’t do it for themselves.
We came up with a checklist of 4 things that might help you make sure that your pets are also going to be ok.
Let’s look at these a little more closely and explore what they all are. Stan and I will give you a few ideas about what and why in each area.
Before we get started have a think about what we might need to consider in each of these areas. Talk to your buddies and think about how these might apply to your pets and your house.
